Re: I keep getting disconnected!
Okay the connection takes 13 hops to complete so should be fine.
Would you be able to disconnect the NAS drive and use that port just to test?

Re: I keep getting disconnected!
okay. It may be an issue with the MTU. I doubt it but its worth a go (about to get technical). MTU/Maximum transmission unit is the setting for the largest packet size that can be sent across a network interface. If a packet is sent that the connection can't cope with you'll drop packets. So you can reduce the MTU to help reduce it. Generally set on the router, to avoid disruption to your room mate you can set the MTU on the wireless adapter of your laptop.
MTU on the wireless adapter will be 1500 (default). The MTU on your internet connection will be lower (something like 1472 but it depends on the ISP). First you need to test to see what is the largest stable packet size you can send. To do this open command prompt (CMD from run) and enter the following:
ping ragol.edenserv.net -l 1500 -f -n 20
-l 1500 = Packet size 1500bytes -f = do not fragment packets -n 20 = perform 20 pings You can cancel the test early by pressing CTRL+C.
The above should fail with "Packet needs to be fragmented but DF set.". This is normal. 1500 is generally too large to send across the internet without fragentation. the "-l 1500" switch is the size of the packet you wish to test. Reduce this until you find the highest size you can send without any time outs. Once you have found the largest MTU value you can set the limit on your wireless adapter.
If you don't want to go through the above you could just set an MTU of 1300. which will be low enough to pretty much guarantee it will work.
Before you can set your MTU you need to find out the Name of the adapter. In command prompt enter: netsh int ip show int You'll probably find that it is named "Wi-Fi". Now enter the following (replacing "Wi-Fi" with your adapter's name and changing the MTU value to the highest value from the ping tests): netsh interface ipv4 set subinterface "Wi-Fi" mtu=1300 store=persistent
Now when you run "netsh int ip show int" you'll find that the MTU has changed from 1500 to the value you have set above.
Now restart your PC and test to see if you have any problems. To revert your MTU enter the following in CMD (replacing "Wi-Fi" with your adapter's name): netsh interface ipv4 set subinterface "Wi-Fi" mtu=1500 store=persistent

Re: I keep getting disconnected!
yeah I keep getting same issue. I mean I contacted my ISP and everything.they told me that my connection 100% fine. I think that PSO eden is having a server disconnect crisis its self and is keep crashing for no darn reason and the fact that none of these admin have no fucking clue how to fix the problem. if everyone can get there lazy asses and find out what the real cause of the problem than giving us the bullshit roam around then we don't have to deal with the bullshit DC in general >:( because its really fucking annoying with DC every time you log on the lobby or game server. and I know that everyone agree with me that its not are ISP or anything its really server issue in general IMO

Re: I keep getting disconnected!
Yeah, I call this flash crashing; It's been happening since yesterday. I think it's periodic too, but I can't quote the hours in eastern time. Maybe it's around 1-2 PM eastern. I didn't have to check with my ISP for anything special since I saw less than 4 players on after every flash crash that I tried to log back in ASAP. I mean, I would love to take the credit for doing it, but I really have no idea whether or not it's caused by me sending guildcards. So, I think there does need to be an investigation as to what is happening behind the scenes here.
Anyways, I'm sure this needs to be redirected to a new topic since the previous posts are irrelevant.

I don't think a new topic is necessary. I'll be hanging out in the lobby today, and we'll be looking into this.
Sorry that this is still happening, we'll get to the bottom of this.
